As part of this years North East Food & Wine Festival (NEFWF), four Beechworth winemakers will be running a Chardonnay masterclass on a Sunday October 27. Sharing two of their Chardonnay each, the winemakers will take you through each wine, whilst you’re snacking on seasonal, local dishes by Ploughmans, in Wodonga.
NEFWF is a celebration of food and wine, and is presented by Wodonga Council. With events running from October 25 to October 27, 2024, there are many smaller events speckled around both Wodonga and Albury across the weekend that will excite you.
One of which is an event where four Beechworth Vignerons will be holding a Chardonnay Masterclass alongside some delectably fresh, and vibrant dishes from owners Reuben Brand and Anita Martins from Ploughmans. Showcasing local and seasonally produced snacks, Reuben and Anita take huge pride in doing the simple things extremely well.

- When: Sunday October 27, 2024
- Venue: Ploughmans, 118 Hovell Street, Wodonga
- Time: 01:50pm welcome, with the masterclass kicking off officially from 02:00pm. Guests to leave by 03:30pm.
- Menu: Local, and seasonal snacks, paired with eight Beechworth Chardonnay.
We recommend not driving home from this event and suggest having a designated driver, or other means to travel to your next destination. As the amount of wine served over the afternoon will be more than 1.5 standard drinks per hour, it would not be safe for you to drive a vehicle.
