The-other-side-of-Beechworth

“An event like no other before it. Beechworth’s top chefs pair up with the region’s talented winemakers for a food and wine event not to be missed!”

There is more to Beechworth than meets the eye. Beneath the historic town façade, exists an amazingly diverse food and wine culture; showcasing some of Australia’s best produce and wine.

Beechworth Vignerons Association (together with Visit Victoria) are proud to bring you ‘The Other Side of Beechworth’.

For one day only, top chefs and Beechworth winemakers come together for a 4-course lunch event showboating some of the lesser-known ‘alternative’ wine styles this region has to offer.

From riesling to marsanne, gamay to tempranillo, sangiovese to nebbiolo and everything in between – you will be front row for a wine tasting to remember.

Date: Sunday, 19th June 2022

Venue: The event will take place at The George Kerferd – Mayday Hills.

Time: Doors will open at 11am for guests to taste all wines on offer (prior to lunch) and to meet the winemakers.

Around 12noon guests can enjoy a glass of bubbles to whet the appetite before a 4-course lunch is served, introduced by our top chefs and carefully curated to pair alongside the ‘alternative’ Beechworth wines.
